En Pointe School of Ballet is offering one FREE MONTH for a limited time only....to boys ages 8 years and up to try our Boys Only Ballet class.
There are currently 8 boys in this class ages 8-13 and there are only a few spots left. This is a fantastic opportunity for your son to be a part of this fun and educational class.
This class has been very successful and the boys love it! We are now in our 2nd year with this awesome group of boys.
We are pleased to have a male ballet instructor teaching this class and the boys are enjoying his methods and personality. He majored in ballet and is such a great example of a masculine dancer and the dancers are responding well to him.
This ballet class is designed especially for boys. In my experience and professional opinion, a boys class is the only effective way to teach boys to enjoy dancing.
This weekly class emphasizes strengthening, stretching, and correct ballet technique in a fun atmosphere where boys can feel comfortable in ballet, with other boys who enjoy dancing or want to learn to dance. This class is great for developing balance and agility and working on leaps, jumps, and turns in a masculine movement style. This class helps them in sports too!
In addition to learning to dance, they also learn about famous male ballet dancers and watch short video clips of these famous dancers. They will have the opportunity to dance masculine roles in a story ballet each spring. When they are old enough and strong enough they will will have the opportunity to learn partnering with the ballerinas in our ballet school.
Classical ballet attire for boys…Black fitted leggings, white T-shirt, black slippers, white socks. If they dress like dancers they behave like dancers.
After the free month, if they want to continue, it is only $30 per month for one hour each week.
